and part of a world-wide network of Christian Brethren assemblies. This website provides information about our churches and related organisations. Our churches exist to help you understand who Jesus is, what He’s done, and His purpose for your life. When you see our logo on a local church web site or stationary, you will know that they are part of our network. They share our beliefs and our focus on real relationships based on a real relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ.

This web site is provided on a low-cost basis at the moment and is funded and operated by the Secretariat of the NSW Assemblies Evangelistic Mission. The information provided on the pages of this site is provided by people in the Christian Brethren assemblies in NSW and by people who serve the Lord in the many NSW based para-assembly organisations which operate in various avenues of ministry, both within the State and beyond. The Aims of the web site are broad and intended to serve a wide range of people - both those within the Christian Brethren movement and those who are not. It is hoped that this can be done in ways which are not only helpful to everyone but also honouring to God Almighty, our Father in Heaven.

AMT  -  Australian Missionary Tidings          Australian Missionary Tidings functions to facilitate the involvement of Christian

 Brethren in Australia in this commission. AMT is a comprehensive service organisation caring for workers sent out from Christian Brethren churches. AMT provides pastoral care and practical helps to workers and seeks to educate the local churches at home of their responsibility in world mission. AMT represents a worldwide fellowship of workers who are engaged in evangelisation, church planting and Bible teaching, along with Bible translation, education, medical care and training of nationals in Christian ministries.

GLO  -  GOSPEL LITERATURE OUTREACH

GLO began in 1965. They have grown steadily both in training and in the ministries they have undertaken. They are based within the Christian Brethren assemblies and see GLO in partnership with commending assemblies, assembly missionary service organisations and national leaders. GLO has developed into an international ministry and now has almost 200 people world-wide engaged in various ministries aimed at strengthening and planting assemblies.

Emmaus Bible College exists to help disciples of Jesus Christ

to know God, His Word and His purposes for their lives

in order to impact the world with the Gospel.

Emmaus Bible College  -  NSW      Emmaus began its teaching program in 1959, with the vision to prepare young people for overseas missionary service and for ministry within Christian Brethren assemblies. Today, they continue to offer a variety of courses to educate Christians to be effective in the local church, community and the mission field; to reach all with the gospel and encourage one another to continue in their faith.

Blessed Assurance Promise Box aims to provide free of charge, Downloads, CDs and DVDs of the recordings of teaching given in the various Christian Brethren Assemblies across Australia, and other things on this site as requested. We trust the Lord to supply all our needs to accomplish this. We currently have over 2,600 MP3 ministry recordings on the Downloads page. We work in Zambia and neighbouring countries serving assemblies of Christians who gather to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, known as Christian Brethren. This is our desire, to be servants for Jesus’ sake and serve the servants of Christ. We serve the missionaries in Zambia and can help them with their transportation needs, in providing a safe, cost-effective, and time saving means of getting to their destination. If their destination is in Lusaka, we are able to help with their accommodation needs. If they are unable to travel, then we can do the errands or business that they require. We are also equipped to provide their internet communication needs if they are staying at the Guest House or visiting us at Kalene. We hope that we can provide whatever service they need as they serve Christ in expanding His Kingdom.

Challenge Literature Fellowship is a non-profit organisation. We publish an evangelistic newspaper to encourage and help Christians to share their faith regularly and to give readers the opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ. Challenge was established over 20 years ago. By the grace of God the past ten years have seen significant increases in our monthly print run distributed by churches and individuals in Australia, New Zealand and Africa. We are blessed to have our own premises in Perth at Wattle Grove, on the Keswick Campsite block; and a stable team of full and part-time workers who have gifts that enhance various aspects of the ministry. Apart from the Challenge newspaper, we offer a printing service to the church and missions communities.

Mission Aviation Fellowship - MAF

MAF is a not-for-profit team of aviation professionals providing air transport in places of deepest human need - remote places where flying is not a luxury, but a lifeline. For almost 60 years, MAF has flown over jungles, mountains, swamps and deserts to bring thousands of men, women and children medical care, emergency relief, long-term development and Christian hope. MAF operates 125 aircraft in 35 countries with around 1000 staff throughout Africa, South and Central America, Asia and the Pacific and using resources from MAF Canada, MAF USA, MAF South Africa, MAF Europe and MAF Australia/New Zealand.

New Tribes Mission - NTM -  planting tribal churches

Of the world's 6,500 people groups, 2,500 are still unreached. New Tribes Mission helps local churches train, coordinate and send missionaries to these tribes. The NTM missionary team learns the tribal language and understands the culture, so the message of the Gospel can be presented in the language and the manner the people will understand. They translate God's Word, teach people how to read and write their own language, and teach through the Bible chronologically, laying a foundation for the Gospel among people who have never met the God of the Bible. Missionaries disciple the new believers, equip them to lead their church, and help them reach out to other villages within their own tribe and to neighbouring tribes..

The Australian Society for Indigenous Languages

The Australian Society for Indigenous Languages Inc. is a not-for-profit incorporated association based in the Northern Territory, Australia. We train and work with indigenous people in translation and literacy, and carry out and support linguistic and cultural research in indigenous languages and communities. We also advocate greater awareness of issues which impact the speakers of indigenous languages. We have other projects in WA among the Nyangumarta at Marble Bar (later at Port Hedland) and Yindjibarndi at Roebourne.
