Phill
and Wendy Brewster have indicated their desire to retire from
the work in the Kimberley District in early 2011. They have been
there for 28 'wet seasons' as Phill neatly put it, and are not
getting any younger, so they deserve a well earned rest. They
propose, in the will of the Lord, to move somewhere in the South
Perth area to be near their children who have not seen a lot of
them over many years. The Perth address will be notified later.
They are currently talking with people who might take over the
work under God's guiding hand for a continued future. I am sure
they would value prayer for this move to the 'big smoke' after
so many years working with the Aborigines and in their culture
in Queensland and Western Australia. Contacts: 86 Sanderling

CYC Patchwork & Paper Craft
Camp 10th - 12th September
OVER
50'S CAMP AT CYC LAKE COOLOONGUP 2010
Is
scheduled for the week of 13th –17th September 2010. The usual three
outings are planned for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Arrival is
10 am on Monday and departure is Friday midday approx. We expect
some Malaysians to come and with our current winter some warm
blankets on loan for them would be appreciated. Don't forget to
bring goodies for morning, afternoon teas and supper etc. Also bring
you own warm clothing too. Enquiries to Stan Seminow 9526 1189 Watch
out for enrolment forms arriving soon at your Assembly. (Even though
some folk went to Malaysia earlier this year our camp is still on.
They may have slides to show of their experience, I'm told they had
a great time and the locals paid for everything!)
KURRAWANG ABORIGINAL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
Please
continue to pray for Kurrawang and its many needs and changes. It
appears that we are experiencing, yet again, another shift in the
Government polices. Yours sincerely in Christ, Sandy Watts

dig out any memorable snaps of your time at Wilson. We'll scan them
and get them back to you ASAP. If you have some photos you'd like to
share, please get in touch via the WGC
