"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in

these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He

made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and

upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the

right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by

inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."   Hebrews 1:1-4  NKJV

IHS-WA.net       "Who are the Brethren" - Books & Articles index page

Here are some printed articles and books written by, or written about the Christian Brethren movement that I have found on the internet.  Who are we?  What do we do? Why do we do what we do?  Sharing the Good News.  Biblical teaching.  Etc...

This will be a section that will grow slowly as I have the time to find and sort items to add to the website. I will try to keep a copy of each item on this website where possible as I find that links to outside pages break or the items get removed and lost.

ARTICLE SERIES on the CB

In 1986, Echoes of Service published an eleven volume series entitled, “That the World May Know”.  The Volumes are a record of the work and legacy of assembly missionaries around the world.

At the beginning of each volume appeared an article entitled, “Who are the brethren?”

These articles were written by prominent men associated with the Christian/Plymouth/Open Brethren movement.
